The last day

Last day Sunday of the match

And it should turn out to be one hard day for all the IROA guys and the Arbitration Committee, but more later.
We was on the range 8am and first shot 9am, also today I was on area 1 from stage 1 to 5.
We had 4 squad today on each stage; it started again with a small rain but only for 30 minutes
It turn out we was a little short of helper on stage 5 so I had to help one of the new hopefully upcoming RO Mikael Östling.
Yesterday we had all the Danish shooter with Lars Hagemann, Jack Rømer, Peter Davis, Christian Ditlev and few more,
On this match there is shooter from Norway, Finland, and Denmark and of course from Sweden but also one shooter from Germany turn up.
We finish early around 12:30 pm. And the price ceremony started around 2pm.

Lars become second in Production his best place in NM after Rasmus Gyllenberg , Rasmus getting better and better, I really looking forward to see him shoot in the European Championship.

The best Danish shooter in standard was Peter Schieck end up in 7th place.

My IROA friend Gert Hansen got a second place in Production as senior

As I told before we had some problem about stage 1, and I turn out to be a big job for the Arbitration Committee and for us IROA.
I cannot write so much about it here because some people will take it further. But we have to pull out the stage in the end.
I will say thanks to all the RO and helper in Area 1 from stage 1 to stage 5
Thanks to MD Bjarne Larning, to RM Olle, stats and Robert Andersson.

I really enjoin all the stage, even my own performance was not that good on this match, my second stage my gun would not work with me, so I had to take it apart, then I have to many miss, I end up with 57,33 %

And final can I tell this was my IROA point match number.

Day 2 and the first day of the main match

Today was the first day of the mainmatch.
Wake up 6am, and was on the range 8am, short RO breafing, and first shot startet 9am.
I was Area CRO from stage 1 to 5, Gert Area CRO from stage 6 to 9 and Steen from stage 10 to stage 12.
Today was the weather a little better, but cold it start a little rain around 4pm.
There is 11 squad with 10 to 12 shooter pr squad.
The stage is really cool this year, only one stage become a small problem and its a stage with disappearing target, but it will go to the abitration commitee, so we have to see what happend, its about if its a disappearing ore not, you start in a box you have 4 target wich are visible from the start and 4 target wich a not vivible and 1 popper.
You have all the time to shot the first 4 target, then you shot the popper and a noshoot barrier will fall down and those target will disappear and the other 4 target will appear. ummmm. rule 9.9.3.
Well they shot 4 stage then lunch and 3 stage and finish.
I had one DQ today on my area magazine in safety area.
Then some small problem with the wall and plate becouse of the strong wind.
When we finish we went to the same restaurant as yesterday got a very nice steak.
So ready for the last day tomorrow.

Gothenburg Open 2010 Putte Memorial

Live update day to day RO report
Day 1 Friday June 11

Gert and I left Copenhagen 5am and took the boat to Sweden 6am.
265 km later we arrive in Gothenborg 8:30am
After we arrive we took a look on the 12 stage to see if we have to change something, but only small change have to be make, then we was ready to start the prematch 10 am.
Gert and I was on the same squad togheter with 6 shooter from Sweden.
My performance today was not so good, I screw up in stage 8 with 6 plate and when my gun did not work with me and that cost me lot of time, and on the other stage a few miss, but I think my time was ok I had lot of speed, more than normal so thats good.
We shot 6 stage then we went to burkerking for lunch, then we start up again 4pm for the last 6 stage, and i was raining like hell today, so we was finish like 7:30pm.
And after talking to the MD Bjarne Larning, time to go homne to our hotel and change for dinner together with one more IROA from Denmark our RM Steen Nitschke, we went to a nice plase and got a really nice dinner, and now its time to sleep, we have to wake up 6am and be on the rage 8am.
